Admissions are made through the Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-MAIN) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
Admissions through Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders in the 2nd year(3rd semester) of the B.Tech programme is limited to a maximum 20% of the sanctioned intake in each discipline. Such seats are filled from JELET examination qualifiers. Other conditions as per State Govt. notification.
Eligibility Criteria: Both JEM and JEE -Main merit listed candidates shall have to adhere to the cut-off marks in qualifying examination(10+2) i.e. at least 45 % marks in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics taken together and with at least 30 % marks in English(for all category of candidates) with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, mathematics, English & Vernacular( or any other fifth subject).
Eligibility Criteria: Passed in Secondary Level Exam and Qualified in JEXPO Exam organized by WEBSCTE.
Time: After counseling organised by WBSCTE.
Eligibility Criteria: B.E./ B.Tech graduates with GATE/PGET (preferable).
